Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Sadak 2’ is making all the right noises since the time it was announced long back. The film, sequel to its predecessor and superhit ‘Sadak’ (1991), will see Mahesh Bhatt return as director after 20 long years! After having big celebs attached to it, ‘Sadak 2’ has added a new name to its starry cast. Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta will play Alia Bhatt’s father in the film, which deals with depression as its storyline. Jisshu has started shooting with Alia in the picturesque town of Ooty. The actor was last seen in ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ as Kangana Ranaut’s husband. ‘Sadak 2’ stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt, apart from Alia and Jisshu. The film is slated to release in July 2020.
