Alia Bhatt had a close call with Covid-19 when her co-star Ranbir Kapoor and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had tested positive recently. The ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress dodged the highly infectious virus back then. But now, after about 15 days of the other two finishing their quarantine, Alia has contracted coronavirus. Declaring it to the world herself, Alia said, “Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors.” She also didn’t forget to thank her fans, “Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care.” Alia, who announced her production house recently, is currently shooting for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
