Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan recently expanded his property portfolio in Mumbai’s Andheri West, acquiring three commercial units totaling 8,429 square feet for approximately Rs 60 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by FloorTap.com. These office spaces, located in the Signature Building on Veera Desai Road, also come with three designated car parks. The seller in this significant transaction was Veer Savarkar Projects Private Limited. Bachchan Senior paid a stamp duty of Rs 3.57 crore for this purchase. Last year, he had bought four units spanning 8,396 square feet in the same building for nearly Rs 29 crore, incurring a stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore. Other notable Bollywood figures such as Ajay Devgn, Sara Ali Khan with her mother Amrita Singh, Kartik Aaryan and Manoj Bajpayee also own units in this prestigious commercial tower.
