Nature’s fury doesn’t discriminate. Amitabh Bachchan got a taste of Mother Nature’s wrath yesterday when his famous office at Juhu, Mumbai was inundated with water. Cyclone Tauktae pounded Mumbai on the way to Gujarat and wreaked havoc in the city. Bachchan’s office Janak, which is a stone’s throw away from his palatial bungalow Jalsa, was flooded with water. The Big B confirmed this by posting, “There is an eerie silence in the midst of the cyclone. The pounding and the lashing rains all day… trees fell, leakages all over, flooding in the vulnerable Janak office.” The ‘Chehre’ actor didn’t shy away from mentioning that even his offices need tarpaulins to cover the affected area, “Impromptu plastic cover sheets still in prep for the heavy monsoon rains, are ripped apart. Sheds and shelters for some staff are also blown away.” Lucky for all, the cyclone only passed near Mumbai and didn’t hit the main coast.
