Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu-starrer thriller ‘Andhadhun’ received a positive response from the critics, but the reviews didn’t translate into box office numbers. The film opened with low occupancy and registered Rs 2.70 crore on Friday, recording a medium jump on Saturday with Rs 5.10 crore and Rs 7.20 crore on Sunday. Driven by content and strong word of mouth, ‘Andhadhun’ managed a healthy figure of Rs 15 crore. However, Salman Khan-produced ‘Loveyatri’, which hit the screens on Friday, couldn’t do well. The debut film of Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain struggled at the box office and has reportedly collected Rs 5.90 crores so far.
