Anushka Sharma makes her OTT debut with ‘Chakda Xpress’. She essays the role of former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami in this entertainer which will premiere on Netflix. “It is really a special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. ‘Chakda Xpress’ is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. As a cricketing nation, we have to give our women cricketers their due. Jhulan’s story is truly an underdog one in the history of cricket in India and the film is our celebration of her spirit,” shared Anushka while announcing the movie. The actress was last seen in 2018 release ‘Zero’, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
