Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon have been signed up to feature in the epic 18th century war – the third battle of Panipat. Ashutosh Gowariker, known for his penchant for historical dramas, will direct this warfare on the silver screen. The film has been titled ‘Panipat’. The third battle of Panipat was fought between the Maratha Empire and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali, circa 1700. The makers are working out on the rest of the cast for this iconic battle. Ashutosh’s wife Sunita Gowariker will be co-producing this project under the AGPPL banner.
