After ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ won a National Award, Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar were upbeat about their next film together. The duo had already begun shooting for Anand L Rai produced ‘Manmarziyan’ in Shimla. However, due to creative differences between Anand L Rai and director Sameer Sharma, the film’s shooting came to a standstill. Sameer was then replaced by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who is awaiting the release of her debut movie ‘Nil Battey Sannata’. According to trade buzz, once ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ releases, Ashwini will go through the script of ‘Manmarziyan’ and also spend some time with the star cast. Apparently, the shooting will now begin only in August. ‘Manmarziyan’ was to release in September this year, but with the film changing hands, the release has been postponed. The makers are expected to announce the new release date soon.
