Ayushmann Khurrana prepares to step into a new chapter with ‘Mupapa’, a film directed by Sameer Saxena that will arrive in theatres on February 19, 2027. The project is being introduced as a bold experiment in storytelling designed to challenge the way audiences experience cinema. Rather than fitting neatly into a single category, ‘Mupapa’ is presented as a sweeping spectacle that intends to surprise at every turn. Ayushmann, celebrated for choosing unconventional narratives, is touted to anchor the film with a performance expected to hold viewers from the opening frame. His last appearance was in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, where he shared the screen with Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh. That story unfolded in Prayagraj, following Prajapati Pandey, a forest officer portrayed by Ayushmann, who lives with his wife Aparna, an investigative journalist played by Wamiqa Gabbi. Their seemingly harmonious marriage formed the emotional core of the narrative.
