With Bollywood back in business and many big films releasing on OTT platforms and some even in cinemas, the makers are gradually gaining confidence. Many films were ready to release during the lockdown itself, ‘Bhoot Police’ being one of them. But the government’s nod to open the theatres across the country is yet to come. With that, many movies are opting for OTT platforms. In fact, the makers have gained so much confidence into digital releases that ‘Bhoot Police’ is now advanced by a week. Instead of its earlier release date of September 17th, the Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, Jaaved Jaafri and Jamie Lever-starrer will hit Disney+ Hotstar on September 10th instead. The release now coincides with the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, falling on the same day.
