Bollywood Pays Tribute To KK

As news of singer KK passing away at age 53 was made public, tributes pour in from his Bollywood friends, collaborators and admirers. Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Sonal Chauhan along with giants like Saregama Music and Bhansali Productions too paid their last respects to the singer. In a disbelief, Akshay Kumar said, “Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om shanti.” Karan Johar spoke about his recognition, “Heart-breaking news on the sudden passing away of such an incredible talent… RIP, KK… the entertainment world has lost a true artist today… Om Shanti.” Offering his “deepest condolences to the family”, Shahid Kapoor felt it was “shocking to hear about KK”. Conglomerates like Bhansali Productions shared a sound clip of his famous song ‘Tadap Tadap’ and wrote, “A voice so soulful that it will always make our heart skip a beat. Remembering you today and every day, may you rest in peace!” while Saregama Music also uploaded a medley of his songs on its YouTube channel. According to reports, KK died due to cardiac arrest after performing on stage in Kolkata.
