Kiku Sharda back on the sets

Comedian Kiku Sharda, who was arrested following a complaint from a follower of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh for dressing up like the Sacha Dera Sauda chief and mimicking him is released and back to shooting. “I am grateful to the media and the social media and everyone who supported me in this,” says a still visibly shaken Kiku. “It is never my desire to hurt anyone, I want everybody to enjoy it. It is my intention to get smiles on people’s faces,” adds the comedian, who became famous with the character of Palak in primetime TV show ‘Comedy Nights Witih Kapil’. It is said that several members from the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) too have come out in support of the comedian, who was arrested following a complaint from a follower of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. CINTAA joint secretary, Amit Behl extended support to the actor as several other artistes like Ashutosh Rana, Renuka Shahane, Manoj and Seema Pahwa and Vrajesh Hirjee joined in.
