Prime Minister Narendra Modi took up the fight against black money and made Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes redundant. Lauding the move, Bollywood actor John Abraham says, “It is a fantastic step for the Indian economy, though I don’t know the repercussions of it. I think it is to flush out the black money from the system. Corrupt people should go.” The decision by PM Modi has received a lot of support from many Bollywood stars. Anushka Sharma shared, “A welcome, bold and courageous step by PM Modiji towards nation building. Each one of us should cooperate in the larger interest of the nation.”
