Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil was arrested from Khar, in Mumbai, on Sunday, following the charges of drink and drive. The alleged incident took place on Sunday night, when Dalip rammed his car into an auto rickshaw from behind, injuring the passengers sitting inside. The actor reportedly fled from the scene but was quickly nabbed as there was traffic due to ongoing Ganpati celebrations. Tahil was booked by the Khar police for causing injury due to rash and negligent driving under the Indian Penal Code and for driving under the influence of alcohol under the Motor Vehicles Act. The actor was soon released on bail.
