Deepika Padukone’s first look from the film ‘Chhapaak’ was applaud worthy, as the actress stepped into the shoes of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. For her character, Deepika has to undergo a massive transformation, demanding hours of patience as she gets into the look for the shoot. However, all efforts have paid off as Deepika’s make-up avatar bears a striking resemblance to Laxmi, who inspired this film. Deepika recently started shooting for the engaging project in Delhi, with co-star Vikrant Massey. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Chhapaak’ will explore the bravery of human spirit and is scheduled to hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
