Omung Kumar has taken the lead over the face-off with Ashutosh Gowariker as both the filmmakers gear up to make a film on Maharaja Jam Sahib Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja, the ruler of Nawanagar, Jamnagar, a princely state in British India. The film will feature Sanjay Dutt in the lead role as the king of Jamnagar and the filmmaker had already revealed the first royal look of Dutt from the historical drama. Titled ‘The Good Maharaja’, Omung’s film will chronicle the story of how hundreds of Polish refugees landed in Jamnagar and were provided shelter by the king.
