Deepika Padukone’s career came to a standstill after the much controversial ‘Padmaavat’ released earlier this year. The actress was to shoot for a crime thriller biopic on Sapna Didi with Irrfan Khan, but unfortunately the actor was diagnosed with a severe health condition, leaving the film’s fate undecided. However, if latest buzz is to be believed then Deepika has signed up for a superhero movie, which will be an out-an-out action project. Interestingly, Deepika’s ex-flame, Ranbir Kapoor, too is working on a superhero movie with Alia Bhatt, titled ‘Brahmastra’, directed by Ayan Mukerji. Having said that, Deepika’s film is not the one in which Ranbir features.
