The Janhavi Kapoor starrer ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ is in the making for some time now. The extended lockdown will push the post-production and release of the film even further. The film is produced by Karan Johar and is directed by Sharan Sharma. While the film keeps itself in the news some way or another, here’s one more for this biopic. ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ will also have a book written on the same topic. Since it is still in the nascent stage, it is unclear whether the book will have chunks from the film as well or it will purely be on India’s fighter pilot. Reportedly, Kirandeep Singh and Nirvan Singh, who wrote a book on ‘Kesari’ will pen this story as well.
