It is being murmured that director Hansal Mehta has left ‘Captain India’ midway, forcing producers to hunt for another captain for this ship. ‘Captain India’ stars Kartik Aaryan, who plays a pilot and goes beyond his call of duty in the film. A source close to the development says, “Abhishek Kapoor is still in the talks as he fits the bill well. He is a great choice to direct a film like this as he has always beautifully captured the true essence of human stories through films like ‘Rock On!!’, ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. He might start shooting for ‘Captain India’ after he wraps up the Aaman-Ajay-starrer he is currently working on.” It is said that Hansal Mehta has abandoned the ship to work on his other projects.
