On the 52nd day of release, audiences flocked to theatres in significantly greater numbers than the preceding day, generating Rs 9.00 crore in nett collections across India, a substantial 38.5 percent jump from Saturday’s Rs 6.50 crore. The uptick reflected heightened viewer interest as evidenced by cinema occupancy rates that rose to 46 percent across 4,387 theatres on Sunday, compared to the 37 percent occupancy registered the previous day across 3,979 screens.
