Kajol’s solo lead act in ‘Helicopter Eela’ has not really attracted viewers at the box office. According to trade reports, the film opened with a poor figure of Rs 75 lakhs on Friday and went on to make another Rs 2.40 crore in the next two days. On Monday, the figures fell badly, to Rs 45 lakhs. The story of a protective mother and son has managed to collect only Rs 3.60 crore till now. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, ‘Helicopter Eela’ also stars 19-year-old National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen, who plays Kajol’s reel-life son. The film didn’t receive a positive response from the reviewers either.
