Over the years, Hema Malini has been one of the pioneers in classical dance. The actress, who often does live shows, plans to keep the tradition alive in youngsters. Speaking at Jaya Smriti, the dance show organised by her, she said, “I have got into politics and got busy there. It is now my wish that very soon I get a place to start an academy for all kinds of classical dance. I have been looking out for a place since the past 15 years.” Hema Malini wants to give a chance to new talent and inspire them to take up the traditional art of dancing through her academy.
