Himesh Reshammiya filed for divorce at the Bandra family court, ending his 22 years long marriage with Komal. The singer-composer stated that the decision was a mutual one as they amicably decide to part ways. Komal and Himesh will however continue to be a part of each other’s families. The couple reportedly plans to co-parent their only child Swayam. Industry buzz suggests that an extra-marital affair could be the cause for this divorce. Himesh and Komal had been staying apart since the past few months and the singer’s proximity to TV actress Sonia Kapoor is suggested to be the reason.
