This Christmas, audiences will witness a powerful tribute to heroism as ‘Ikkis’ hits theatres on December 25th. The film which is helmed by acclaimed director Sriram Raghavan and backed by Maddock Films under Dinesh Vijan’s banner, stars Agastya Nanda in a role that marks a significant milestone in his career. The announcement came via Instagram where the makers unveiled a striking poster stamped with the release date. ‘Ikkis’ tells the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, a young soldier whose bravery during the 1971 Battle of Basantar earned him the Param Vir Chakra posthumously – India’s highest military honor. At just 21, Khetarpal became the youngest recipient of the award. Agastya, now 24, steps into his shoes to bring this legacy to life. Joining him on screen are legendary actor Dharmendra, along with Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher promising a cast that blends gravitas with fresh energy.
