John Abraham will be seen playing the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav as the one who headed the Batla House encounter, in a thriller film titled ‘Batla House’. The film will be directed by Nikkhil Advani and filmmaker Bhushan Kumar has decided to produce the project after working with the former on ‘Airlift’ and ‘Satyameva Jayate’, which also stars John. Speaking on the collaboration, John says, “I have always been intrigued by real life drama and ‘Batla House’ is exactly something I would want to do. Nikkhil is very talented and I am sure that this project will be a wonderful venture.” ‘Batla House’ will go on the floors in September and will be shot in Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Nepal.
