Kajol kick started the promotions of ‘Helicopter Eela’ in London with the launch of her film’s poster. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, Kajol plays a possessive mother in the film. Speaking about her character, Kajol says, “Being a mother, I connected with Eela’s character. She loves her son unconditionally and has put her dreams on hold for him. ‘Helicopter Eela’ is a coming of age film for Eela.” Kajol essays the role of a single mother and an aspiring singer who gives up on her dreams to raise her only child. But her son doesn’t want his protective mother around. ‘Helicopter Eela’ is co-produced by Ajay Devgn and is scheduled to release on September 14.
