Kalki Koechlin’s upcoming film ‘Margarita With A Straw’ (‘MWAS’) was reportedly asked to tone down its content by the Censor Board. While the film is set to release with a few edits, the leading lady speaks her mind out on the subject of bans and cuts in films. Kalki said, “According to me, if something gets banned then that thing gets a lot of power. We want to watch it all the more. I think there is no advantage in banning anything. We should have a rating system that this film is for kids or for adults and it should just be that much.” Scenes in ‘MWAS’ passed the test depicting same sex but the makers were asked to tone down a few ‘objectionable’ shots between opposite sex.
