Kangana Ranaut always tries her best to spruce up the weirdest of roles for the silver screen. After ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, the actress is now working on Hansal Mehta’s next ‘Simran’. The first look of simpleton Kangana Ranaut as Praful Patel was recently released and the actress has again managed to impress all in her de-glam avatar. Kangana plays a Gujarati character for which she sought inspiration from several Gujarati plays. Theories were also doing the rounds that the title of the film was after Kangana Ranaut’s onscreen character. Praful Patel used to be name of one of TV’s iconic characters from the 90s popular comic-show ‘Khichdi’.
