Sonakshi Sinha-starrer quirky comedy ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ received a positive response after the trailer release. The film was scheduled to hit the screens on July 26 which apparently was clashing with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon-starrer ‘Arjun Patiala’. However, the makers have bowed out of the crowded box office race this time around and have decided to release their film a week later. The new release date for ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ is August 2, wherein it will compete with just a single film so far, Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Jabariya Jodi’. ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ promises a fun ride through a sex clinic tale which is operated by Sonakshi’s family in the film.
