Karan Johar had created controversy when he had announced ‘Bedhadak’ in March 2022. The film stars Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor, who will debut with KJo’s newly launched talent company Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA). While the ghosts of nepotism may have started haunting the Johar scion, he also announced the launch of Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfatez Pirzada alongside Shanaya. It was then said that ‘Bedhadak’ was shelved, reasons best known to the makers. Giving rest to such rumours, the makers sent out the news that the film was very much on track. There could have been a delay due to the reasons beyond anyone’s control, but the shoot of Bedhadak is scheduled to begin early next year. Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the trio is undergoing workshops and reading scripts to understand the nuisances of acting.
