Manoj Bajpayee is set to take centre stage when ‘Last Man In Tower’ hits theatres on September 11th bringing Aravind Adiga’s acclaimed novel to the big screen. The actor headlines this highly anticipated theatrical release portraying Masterji, a former educator who becomes increasingly isolated as those around him pursue life-altering opportunities that contradict his core values. Produced by Spirit Media under Rana Daggubati’s banner, the film marks a significant showcase for Bajpayee’s talent with his character facing mounting pressure to compromise his principles. His portrayal of Masterji explores the internal conflict of a man standing firm in his convictions while watching his relationships fracture around him, particularly with Mrs Puri – played by Divya Dutta – whose ambitions clash directly with his own. The September 11 theatrical debut promises audiences an intimate look at Bajpayee’s nuanced performance as he navigates the complexities of moral conviction in a world constantly shifting beneath his feet. Ben Rekhi directs the drama with Boman Irani in a pivotal supporting role. The film explores themes of compromise, family bonds and the personal cost of unwavering conviction.
