Manisha Koirala has been roped in to portray the late actress Nargis Dutt, mother of Sanjay Dutt, in his biopic. Director Rajkumar Hirani felt that Manisha would be apt to play the part as she too has fought the Big C, while Nargis suffered from pancreatic cancer. While Manisha will play Sanjay Dutt’s mother, Paresh Rawal will portray Sunil Dutt on the silver screen, a role which was previously offered to Akshaye Khanna. Hirani has brought together an ensemble cast with Ranbir Kapoor playing Sanjay Dutt, Dia Mirza as Manyata and two interesting cameos by Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
