Manoj Bajpayee’s father Radhakant Bajpai, also known as RK Bajpai, passed away yesterday at the age of 83. RK Bajpai was unwell and the actor had rushed to meet him from Kerala to Delhi on September 17th. In the month of June as well, Bajpai Sr was unwell and Manoj had to rush to meet him at his village in Bihar. This time though, Bajpai slipped into critical condition and couldn’t survive the health problems due to old age. On receiving people’s wishes for him, Manoj Tweeted, “Thank you all for sending prayers and love on the sad demise of my father who was the sole reason and support for me to venture on such a difficult journey which got me everything that I dreamt of! Eternally grateful to you all!” Bajpai’s last rites were performed at the Nigam Bodh Ghat in New Delhi.
