Nandita Das recently attended a photo exhibition titled While We Looked Away by photographer Sami Siva. The exhibition captures the healthcare for people in India and can serve as a mirror to the society. The actress seemed impressed with the amazing photography and urged media to take a similar initiative, “Media is big to take the news ahead. But media is also in its own mood. They want sensational news, Bollywood, gossip and political drama,” stated the actress. Nandita added that even social networking sites should be a part of it, “Social media is very important, in whichever way we can spread it.”
