Banking on Salman Khan’s star power, PVRInox has reportedly stepped in as the all-India theatrical distributor for the upcoming action-thriller ‘Monster’ by investing a massive Rs 100 crore in distribution rights for the project. Helmed by director Vamshi Paidipally, the film which is internally titled ‘SVC63’, is scheduled to hit theatres during Eid 2027 capitalising on the festive season’s box office potential. Reports say that the multiplex chain’s aggressive move reflects industry confidence in the film’s commercial viability, banking on Khan’s return to cinemas. Alongside co-star Nayanthara, Salman is set to deliver a layered performance with multiple character transformations throughout the narrative. This venture arrives amid anticipation following his previous theatrical outing, ‘Sikandar’ (2025), which featured Rashmika Mandanna and was helmed by AR Murugadoss, a project that ultimately underperformed commercially raising the stakes for ‘Monster’.
