Ram Charan, NTR Jr and director SS Rajamouli, along with the other cast and crew of ‘RRR’ are on Cloud 9 as a song from their film has finally won an Academy Award. ‘Naatu Naatu’ has won in the category of the Best Original Song at the most prestigious 95th Academy Awards. Choreographed by Prem Rakshith, it had earlier won the coveted trophy at the 80th Golden Globe Awards and several other Hollywood awards. Hence the latest win has only catapulted everyone associated with the number to higher heights. Perhaps at a loss for words, Rajamouli could only write, “Jai Hind,” on his Twitter handle as an immediate reaction. ‘Naatu Naatu’ was pitched against Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Mitski and David Byrne and Diane Warren at the Oscars.
