Paresh Rawal joins Coolie No 1 as Sara’s father

Paresh Rawal has stepped into the shoes of late Kader Khan who played the character of Hoshiyar Chand as Karisma Kapoor’s father in ‘Coolie No 1’. He will play Sara Ali Khan’s dad in this adaptation of the 1995 hit which also stars Varun Dhawan who will recreate Govinda’s role in the remake. The team of  ‘Coolie No 1’  remake is scheduled to kick start the first schedule in August in Bangkok. After the first half is wrapped up the shoot will shift to Goa where they will have a marathon schedule. This film will also be directed by David Dhawan and is expected to hit the screens on May 1, 2020.
