Director R Balki has started shooting amidst the lockdown. But fear not, the filmmaker hasn’t resumed his movies shoots, rather Balki filmed an ad campaign with Akshay Kumar. After procuring all the required permissions, sanitising the sets and working with bare minimal workers, the shoot was started for the Indian Government. Balki says, “Akshay and I have shot this ad campaign for the Government of India to make people aware about their responsibilities post lockdown. Things might seem difficult but through this ad, we now know what all precautions need to be taken to shoot in the post-lockdown era. The shoot happened smoothly following all hygiene protocols, ensuring minimum crew with maximum efficiency and safety.” Akki and Balki have worked together on ‘Padman’ in 2018.
