The romantic track from ‘Sultan’, ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ was apparently first recorded by Arijit Singh. However, owing to the singer’s controversy with the film’s lead actor Salman Khan, this song was re-recorded by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Recently when Rahat was asked if he was aware of the other version of the same, he expressed ignorance, “I was not aware that someone else had sung this song before. I just came and did it. I don’t know whatever happened after that,” stated the musician. Last month, Arijit Singh wrote a public apology to Salman Khan requesting him not to remove the song he sang in ‘Sultan’.
