Now, the world of Rancho, Farhan and Raju is preparing to reopen. Reports suggest that Rajkumar Hirani has locked the script for a long‑anticipated follow‑up with filming likely to begin in late 2026. The original cast – Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi are expected to reunite as the narrative picks up roughly fifteen years after the trio parted ways in the first film. Interestingly, Hirani and Aamir have temporarily stepped back from their planned ‘Dadasaheb Phalke’ biopic due to creative concerns.
