Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Rooh Afza’ finally went on the floors today. The film was much in news for finding the right star cast. Sharing a picture of the clapboard, Rajkummar and Janhvi posted on their respective social media accounts, “Karne aa rahe hain aapke dilon pe kabza, aaj se shuru hoti hai ‘Rooh Afza’!” On finalising the stars after much brainstorming, producer Dinesh Vijan had earlier said, “We needed actors who could jump into their roles with unabashed conviction. Comedy is a space Rajkummar excel in and own. For the female lead, we needed someone who could portray two contrasting personalities with ease and Janhvi stood out. Her talent is still raw, but she is excited about being moulded.” The film is directed by newcomer Hardik Mehta and is expected to release in March 2020.
