Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with throat cancer and son Hrithik Roshan revealed that the actor-filmmaker will be going into surgery soon. Post the operation, Hrithik shared, “I am very happy to inform that according to the doctors, his surgery has gone off well.” Rakesh Roshan was in an early stage of squamous cell carcinoma. He went into surgery with son Hrithik, daughter Sunaina, wife Pinky and brother Rajesh Roshan by his side. Roshan Sr is expected to return home by the end of this week. Rakesh Roshan has played a major role in shaping Hrithik’s Bollywood career and has been working on the fourth installment of superhero film ‘Krrish’.
