Deepika Padukone is rumored to have been approached to play the lead in Ranbir Kapoor’s next with Luv Ranjan. The untitled project already stars two strong male stars – Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor – as parallel leads and a plum part has been offered to Deepika. Although an official confirmation in this regard is still awaited. The said project is expected to go on the floors in mid-2019, by which Deepika would have wrapped up her acid attack victim’s film ‘Chhapaak’, directed by Meghna Gulzar. Ex-lovers, Ranbir and Deepika, came together for ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Tamasha’ after parting ways and both the films did good business at the box office.
