The Filmfare Awards 2022 were recently announced and instead of its traditional time which takes place at the beginning of each year, the trophies made their way to the celebs’ homes at the end of August. Nonetheless, it was a glitzy affair packed with the who’s who of the industry. Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) for his performance in ‘83’. Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, won the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for ‘Mimi’. The makers of ‘Shershaah’ took home the trophy for Best Film. The latest cynosure of everyone’s eyes, and a power-packed performer, Pankaj Tripathi went home with the Best Actor in A Supporting Role (Male) for ‘Mimi’. The biggest names including Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra, Vidya Balan and Varun Dhawan among others, graced the event which was held at the Jio World Centre.
