Ranveer Singh’s ‘83’ has finally managed to score a century, in terms of its collections at the box office. The Kabir Khan film released on December 24th and in 17 days of release, ‘83’ has collected Rs 100.56 crore in India. Although it’s still not considered to be a huge success when compared to money spent, it must be kept in mind that theatres were closed in some states after the new variant of Covid-19 surged. Also, theatres were allowed to run with just 50 percent capacity for social distancing. ‘83’ is allegedly made on a whopping budget of over Rs 250 crore and its worldwide collection is pegged at nearly Rs 175 crore.
