Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama now faces opposition from the former royal family of Jaipur. Former princess Diya Kumari has stated that the film should not hurt their religious sentiments, since it is based in the royal family, and if ‘Padmavati’ portrays distorted historical facts then it should not be allowed to release! Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Padmavati’ is gearing up to release on December 1, that is, if the road ahead is smooth for the film.
