Will Smith slapping comedian and host Chris Rock for his joke on Jada Pinkett Smith at the Oscars has everyone talking. Recently at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) press conference, when Salman Khan was asked whether hosts should be cautious with jokes, the actor replied, “It’s important for a host to be sensitive. Humour should always be above the belt and never below it. I have hosted shows like ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Dus Ka Dum’ and so many live shows on stage.” Will was enraged after Chris asked Jada about ‘GI Jane 2’, while referring to her shaved head. On Monday, Smith issued an apology, calling his behaviour as ‘unacceptable and inexcusable’. Chris rock didn’t file a police report against the actor and both have since moved on from the incident. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences have condemned Will Smith’s behavior and the situation is under review.
