During a press event for his forthcoming movie ‘Deva’, Shahid Kapoor was asked to comment on the alarming news of Saif Ali Khan being attacked at his residence. Shahid expressed concern, stating, “This is a sad incident. We all from the fraternity are very worried. We hope that Saif’s health improves soon. We were all very shocked by this incident. It is very difficult to absorb this, more so in such a personal space and in a city like Mumbai.” The distressing event took place in the early hours of January 16th 2025 when an intruder broke into Saif’s Mumbai home and stabbed him six times. Saif was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent multiple surgeries and is now reported to be in stable condition.
