After opening to a modest Rs 9.55 crore collection, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ has managed to reach Rs 39.60 crore in the first five days at the box office. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and tells the story of same sex relationships. Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ is another chapter to ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ which had done brisk business in 2017. The other film that hit the marquee last week was ‘Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship’, starring Vicky Kaushal. It managed to collect only Rs 20.78 crore for its producer Karan Johar. The occupancy for the horror film hovered around 32 percent in national multiplexes from February 21st – 23rd.
