The makers of Sitaare Zameen Par, the much-awaited film starring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, have released the first song from the movie, titled “Good For Nothing”, following the incredible response from the trailer, which evoked laughter and emotion.
This energetic and uplifting track features Aamir Khan who takes the court as Coach Gulshan leading a spirited group of specially-abled young athletes through high-energy basketball drills. The song sets the tone for the film’s lively, determined, and heartwarming journey.
The music video reflects Coach Gulshan’s unrelenting optimism and tough-love coaching style as he inspires his team to push past limitations with grit, humor, and camaraderie. With its colorful visuals and infectious rhythm, “Good For Nothing” celebrates teamwork, resilience, and the joy of sport, offering a taste of the film’s vibrant emotional landscape.
Composed by the iconic trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with dynamic vocals by Shankar Mahadevan and Amitabh Bhattacharya, the track also features Neil Mukherjee on guitar and Sheldon D’Silva on bass, together delivering a sound that is upbeat, catchy, and full of soul.
